Special Events

Welcome Picnic - New parents and students gather for a potluck at the school in late summer to celebrate the upcoming school year and meet one another.

Halloween Party - our families and the community are invited to the school on a weekend day for a Halloween Party. Both kids and adults get into the festivities at our first major social event of the school year.

Art Show - we allow each child to select their best artwork and have it mounted, matted or framed. All student artwork is then displayed at an Art Show in the winter for the parents.

Pajama Day - The preschool program has Pajama Day in the Spring. Everyone comes in their pajamas for a special breakfast snack.

Spring Auction - this is our largest fundraising and social event of the year. The Spring Auction provides funds we allow each class of children to contribute to worthy causes that they select. Our families solicit local businesses and individuals for donations, and volunteer for one of the committees needed to produce the event (publicity, data entry, event planning, etc.) Besides the wide array of items to bid on, there's also live music, and great food donated by many local restaurants and cafes.

Summer Picnic - our families and the community are invited to the school on a weekend day for a BBQ. Both kids and adults get into the festivities at our last major social event before the new school year.
